Photographic journey in the artisanal workshops of the Oltrarno neighborhood in Florence. Photos of over 25 artisans working with techniques, instruments and skills passed down from generations of artisanal tradition in Florence. Each artisan represents different media - carpentry, metal works, jewelry, book and paper making, furniture, restoration, printing, bronze, shoemaking, musical instruments and more. This project was developed over 3 months, living in the Oltrarno neighborhood in the summer 2016. It has been a privilege to shoot and develop a relationship with each one of these workshops, learning about the history and tradition and their work. This exhibit will be also shown in New York later in 2016.
