Photographic journey through the boats, fish markets and streets of Sicily, during my trips to Catania, Taormina and the Eolian islands. Mainly featuring the Cusolito brothers, a family of fishermen, from Stromboli. Special thanks to Fondazione Mazzullo, Laura and Pippo Manuli. This exhibit is dedicated to the endless beauty, magic and generosity of Sicily and its people.
The Exhibit was published in La Sicilia, Gazetta del Sud, Taormina Informa and various blogs.
Photographic journey in the artisanal workshops of the Oltrarno neighborhood in Florence. Photos of over 25 artisans working with techniques, instruments and skills passed down from generations of artisanal tradition in Florence. Each artisan represents different media - carpentry, metal works, jewelry, book and paper making, furniture, restoration, printing, bronze, shoemaking, musical instruments and more. This project was developed over 3 months, living in the Oltrarno neighborhood in the summer 2016. It has been a privilege to shoot and develop a relationship with each one of these workshops, learning about the history and tradition and their work. This exhibit will be also shown in New York later in 2016.
Spent 4 months as part of the Medici Dynasty Show crew. Personified princess Giulia de Medici, photographed the actors, stage and show and assisted with overall social network strategy and campaigns.
In cooperation with Cinzia Menichetti, collector, antiquarian and owner of the Jenny Frullini Sartoria archive, Tina photographed over 60 dresses from the wedding collection. The photographs were used to design and graphically arrange the first edition of the archive's catalog, to be published in November 2015.
